Exactly. Rough that little cunt up early and smash him about a bit and he won't want to know. Obviously doesn't want to play for Conte and desperately looking to avoid injury before the WC.

One point.

Arse and Leicester have bugger all to play for as well and City might not have anything either by then as they will be champions already.

Re: Chelsea, Stoke, Arse
Spurs screwed up Chelsea's chances of a CL spot pretty much on Sunday. Lets hope we aren't caught on the rebound.

I agree the payers look down. An FA is hardly a great achievement to look forward to for them.

They've always been a one man team anyway..Hazard. If he performs then they do. He seems disinterested and Conte knows his days are numbered.

After saying that they might smash us.

Re: Chelsea, Stoke, Arse
Our hope against Chelsea is that it is clearly obvious the players are not playing for Conte. Plus, many of their players are now looking at the World Cup and so they aren't going to go into crunching tackles through fear of getting injured.

I think we can capitalise on the uncertainty there and the fact that they are taking foot off the gas.

If we play like we did Saturday we could take all 3 points. But a draw would be great result and a loss isn't end of world.

Stoke is the big one. Win that and I think we are ok.

For those who don't like Moyes, if we managed to get 4 points from these games, would your opinion change?

Re: Chelsea, Stoke, Arse
The Stoke game is very similar to the Saints match, a must win and no holds barred. We should win that and a point from either of the other two games should see us safe.

Would hate to think our survival depended upon the last match of the season, Everton and BFS. Hopefully we are well safe by then and we can beat them for once.

Re: Chelsea, Stoke, Arse
we beat them this weekend and it will all come to a head, not sure we will though but a point would not surprise me, but all 3 points is by no means out of the question.

WTF?

Re: Chelsea, Stoke, Arse
If we play like we did against Southampton, then we will pick up points, 4 isn't unrealistic, 6 if we keep that momentum, effort and passion going from the weekend, although Southampton were shit, part of that was down to how we played and went at that from start to finish.

Chelsea look vulnerable at the moment, think they have there own internal upheaval going on with Conte, we beat them this weekend and it will all come to a head, not sure we will though but a point would not surprise me, but all 3 points is by no means out of the question.

Stoke haven't played that bad in recent games, i saw the Everton game and they were a bit unlucky i thought, so will be a tough game for us but given there big problem is finding the back of the net, a hard fought 1 or 2 nil.

Not sure we can get anything against Arsenal, apart from the odd upset its usually a routine win for them at home against us.

Re: Chelsea, Stoke, Arse
PD - Exactly, while we're capable of playing as we did Saturday we're also capable of playing as Southampton did, and more often than not do.

So I find it hard to have any optimism whoever we're facing, and look at any opposition and know we can struggle against them.

That being said just one good performance out of our remaining fixtures could be enough, we just need to produce one.

Re: Chelsea, Stoke, Arse
fraser - Yea I'm like that too, you watch these other lower sides and wonder why they don't look completely shit like we usually do, but it's not usually the case. Southampton's performance on saturday is how we play most of the time.

I thought Stoke looked OK against Arsenal, but then again I'm used to our inept displays so maybe clouded my judgement

I think beating Stoke would see us safe . Them are Southampton are shit . Can’t see either winning 2 or 3 of their last 7 .

We never beat Arsenal? You've got a short memory.

Re: Chelsea, Stoke, Arse
Incredibly difficult to call

Wasn't really impressed with any of them on Sunday!

Chelsea will be smarting from the defeat against spurs & eager to make amends but if we can get an early goal they could easily crumble. Their crowd would soon get on their backs

IF we got an unlikely win against Chelsea, the pressure would be off for the Stoke game, which is a must win for them. We might easily go on to win that too!

We never beat Arsenal, but they have European distractions, which might enable us to scrape an unlikely draw

So my prediction is between 0 & 7!

Re: Chelsea, Stoke, Arse
I think we can beat Chelsea. Teams have sussed them out and are pushing them wide and stopping them through the middle hence why they wanted to buy a big man. Having said that our middle isn't the most mobile!!

I am giving up predicting our heroes.
They are an infuriating bunch of arseholes at the best of times.

Arsenal look awful today. Lucky not to be behind. Have to hope they play like this against us. Although we could do without them giving up points to stoke.

A shock battling win at Troll Bridge and we’re on a roll to nine points (yes I’ve had an aperitif).
